Months later...

It's November! Time flies. Just been working, working, sleeping, hanging out, reading, getting out as much as possible, apartment hunting like nothing else...sorry I haven't been on here in forever.

I need to get away!

So, the past two days I've left work earlier and I've taken two half occurrences now. I'm fed up. Yesterday, I got sick (stomach bug) and then today I found out I couldn't leave without getting a half occurrence because I used all my time yesterday, so I said "Fuck it" and left at 11a today and made the most of my half occurrence. Had lunch at Neato Burrito around 12:30, then got my allergy injection around 2pm and then came home around 2:30ish, finished my last lab for my LAST class at HACC and now I'm relaxing and watching some tv.

I mainly came on because I am truly worried about my job. I like some of the people and some parts of the job, but I really can't stand the occurrence policy. I understand the need for it, but it sucks for me. I only accrue 5.3 hours per paycheck to use for time off, that's barely anything and I can barely save it up lately with Dr's appointments and such. Brian gets 22 days January 1st for the whole year to use for whatever he pleases, I can honestly say, I'm jealous of that. So, right now I have either 7 or 7 1/2 and I have to go until November until any drop off, that's like 7 months away!! I'm worried that I'm not going to make it, I'm freaking out. So, I'm job hunting again, not aggresively, but I'm still looking almost everyday. I need something else, something for ME.

So...I'm FINALLY graduating from HACC next Saturday, the 16th at 10am!! WOOT WOOT! That's one positive thing going on, FINALLY something positive to report. It's been about 4-5 months since I've really had anything positive to say about anything, esp my health and all the ups and downs I've had since November and my breathing problems. I'm still progressing in that area, finally on a steady diet of vitamins and drugs. I don't like being on so many medications, but for now, I'm okay with it, but I am hoping within the future I can get off some of them or at least lower the mg's some. Right now I take Advair/Albuterol/Singulair for asthma, Xyzal for allergies, Citalopram for anxiety/depression (which stemmed from the past months events), Iron supplement for my low iron count, birth control of course (can't wait to get off of it though!!), I also take a vitamin B supplement, and a women's one-a-day supplement for various vitamins and I think that's it...hehe. But it seems like a lot and I'm frustrated, but what can you do? I also started on allergy injections (insurance pays 100%, so why not now?) about a month ago, I just started my second dosage (higher) today, so we'll see how that goes. They say it takes about 1 year to feel almost completely "cured" and a relief from meds and major breathing issues associated with allergies (I had testing done and am pretty much allergis to EVERYTHING out there, including cats/dogs, weeds, trees, plants, molds, mildew, pollen, tobacco plants, mice, etc) it's crazy, but I hope these shots work.

That's it for, I'll try to keep this updated, but things are def still hectic feeling and I haven't felt like myself in a really long time, still honestly have really bad days every now and then and break down often, but not as frequently as before (Nov-Feb). Haven't had a major anxiety attack lately either, which is a good sign too. Also, can't wait for my grad party next Saturday evening, can't wait to see and hang out/drink with friends I haven't seen in a while, can't wait!!

Ciao!
